The CASCADE-2P portable calibration unit is designed for periodic and extraordinary checks and adjustments of hot and cold water meters directly at the place of their operation. The installation is made in a container and includes a hydraulic measuring section with adjustment fittings, a set of flexible piping, a measuring controller, a signal generation device (optoelectronic head) for reference and verifiable meters and a portable computer. Additionally, the installation can be equipped with scales with a flow switch, which can be used both for performing high-precision measurements and for calibration and verification of measuring transducers as part of the installation. The Cascade-2P installation operates in several modes: verification, adjustment, calibration, verification of measuring transducers that perform the function of working standards.
